First aired on Friday 21st August 2009 on 103.2 Dublin City FM, the radio documentary "Accents and Prestige" was produced and presented by Heather MacLeod and Gerard Counihan with support of the BCI Sound and Vision Broadcasting Funding Scheme. "Accents and Prestige" discusses and explores how accent affects our everyday lives, what accent means to us and the psychology behind recognising, mimicking and developing accents.
